Overview

In 2017, Vectioneer collaborated with the Toronto Rehab Institute on the FallsLab Motion project. FallsLab focuses on advancing the understanding of balance and gait, developing therapies for individuals at risk of falls, and innovating technologies to prevent or reduce injuries caused by falls or balance loss. As part of this initiative, Vectioneer retrofitted the hardware and software, modernizing the system to support research and therapeutic applications.

We delivered a fully integrated solution by creating a new operating system tailored to the specific needs of the FallsLab. This upgrade ensured improved performance, flexibility, and reliability, empowering the institute to push the boundaries of innovation in fall prevention and rehabilitation technology.

What We Did

Retrofitting + upgrading Hard- & Software

In 2018, a small team from Vectioneer traveled to Toronto to undertake a upgrade of the installation at the Toronto Rehab Institute. The team prepared the software in advance at our headquarters, ensuring a smooth and efficient process on-site. Leveraging the power of the Digital Twin and Motorcortex, we were able to simulate and optimize the system before implementation, guaranteeing precision and reliability in the upgrade. This approach not only streamlined the installation but also reinforced our commitment to delivering cutting-edge, efficient solutions tailored to our client’s needs.

Transforming Rehabilitation with Technology.
