Vectioneer developed the software for a robotic laparoscopic surgical robot system. The software was developed using the Motorcortex Robot Application Template as a solid foundation and a jump start for the project.
The software has the following aspects:
- Distributed Realtime Motion Control of 5 robot arms
- Haptic interface with the surgeon
- Instrument control for a wide range of surgical instruments
- Digital Twin of the complete system
- Software Management System for Deployment and Configuration Management
- Surgical Planning Tool
Vectioneer is a partner in the CareBOTS project. This project focuses on the development and application of robotics solutions in healthcare.
The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Dutch national government, and the Province of North Brabant through the OPZuid 2021–2027 program.
