Overview

Vectioneer developed the software for a robotic laparoscopic surgical robot system. The software was developed using the Motorcortex Robot Application Template as a solid foundation and a jump start for the project.

The software has the following aspects:

  • Distributed Realtime Motion Control of 5 robot arms
  • Haptic interface with the surgeon
  • Instrument control for a wide range of surgical instruments
  • Digital Twin of the complete system
  • Software Management System for Deployment and Configuration Management
  • Surgical Planning Tool

Vectioneer is a partner in the CareBOTS project. This project focuses on the development and application of robotics solutions in healthcare.
The project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Dutch national government, and the Province of North Brabant through the OPZuid 2021–2027 program.
